Eye Candy For Your Tellybox

Back In The Room

Our web presence has been upped - sorta.
We are still VERY busy and we are presently converting all video material for youtube.
For the meanwhile please find all motion work on our youtube channel.
We will get everything videowise in a logical fashion here on this site shortly.

Some Christmas Cheer

Here is a little animation we recently completed for AVBrowne, enjoy.
We will be back in full production mode from the 4th of January 2010.
Please visit our YouTube page in the meantime to see some of our more recent work, it is more up to date than what is here presently.
Hope you all enjoy your time off.

Special Effects…

We’ve just completed a number of complex effects shots for a BBC documentary due to air in October. We’ll be able to show off all our hard work after the show has been broadcast.

PANI & University of Ulster Student Workshops Awards

Streetmonkey were delighted to sponsor the PANI & University of Ulster Student Workshops Awards held in the Student's Union on Tuesday 9th March. The second-year student teams were each mentored by six of Northern Ireland's leading advertising agencies, as they developed their assigned brief - to produce a campaign encouraging winter sports enthusiasts to wear a helmet. Congratulations to the members of the winning team, shown above, who each won an iPhone for their excellent work.

BT

Since late last year we’ve been working on a series of animated British Telecom commercials for AV Browne. Voiced by Sean Guilder (“Paddy” from Shameless), the commercials show off BT’s latest audio-visual packages and internet deals: all the photo-realistic hardware featured was lovingly built and rendered in-house using Cinema 4D.

We're back!

You may have noticed the lack of updates to the web site over the last few months. We’ve been flat-out producing some amazing pieces of work for our clients, including three series of adverts for British Telecom, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Stena Line. Have a look at these, plus an assortment of our other new pieces of work, on the “Our Work” page.

Morse Collectors gets First Prize

Congratulations to David Cooke and Crawford Anderson-Dillon who’ve won First Prize at the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. This means it can compete for the Oscars. The Morse Collectors was finished here in Streetmonkey, where we tightened the initial edit, colour graded the digital footage and worked on a number of difficult effect shots. Check out the great article at NI Screen.

New Awards

BBC NI picked up bronze awards for two of their promos at this year’s Shark Awards in Kinsale, both of which featured key special effect shots produced by Streetmonkey. The winning promos were “Get Here” and “Blueprint Volcano”, and you’ll find them in the movie archive on the “Our Work” page. We are pleased that our work has yet again claimed awards at this international festival.

New 3D Power

We have just taken delivery of Cinema 4D release 11. Most significantly this now means we can offer our clients much more realistic lighting and improved render times.

BT Blocks

AVBrowne commissioned us to create their latest 3D commercial for BT Ireland. We designed the icons and created everything else in Cinema 4D. Alongside the two commercials we created a series of print renders and a variety of online materials. Check out the ads here.
