Shooting

We shoot on a wide range of cameras - from professional DV cameras like the Sony DSR range to HDV / HDCAM and specialist cameras like the RED One & Phantom. For larger jobs requiring the use of specialist equipment such as cranes or tracks, we hire experienced personnel, allowing us to accommodate any type of video project you may require.

High Definition (HD)

We recommend shooting in HD format for a number of important reasons: primarily, the visual quality of the material can be comparable to shooting on film. The extra resolution is particularly handy should you need to use stills from the shoot for print material. The industry is moving towards HD delivery and it is beneficial to be competent this new visual format and the cost is only marginally higher than the equivalent Standard Definition (SD) job. Our workstations all manage HD footage in realtime.
